David Stevens founded mimosa in 2004.
I have 10 years of experience in highly technical areas, including university research in quantum physics and atomic physics, industrial research into exploiting digital radar satellite images, and software driver development for digital television.
My current interests lie in operating systems for microcontrollers and hardware development. I am actively building a programmable logic controller.
After training as a physicist first at Cambridge University (BA 1994), and later at Oxford University (DPhil 1999), I won a European Union research fellowship to continue research at the Optical Institute in Paris. I have worked for Ant Organisation, Tracerco, DERA, HyperPanel Lab.
